Yang Tersisa dari Eurovision 2010: Kristina Pelakova - Horehronie (Slovakia)

Sepertinya hingga sekarang saya masih merasakan demam Eurovision Oslo 2010, padahal event ini sudah berakhir pada akhir Mei lalu. Ada satu peserta dari Slovakia bernama Kristina Pelakova (kelahiran 20 Agustus 1987) yang penampilan dan lagunya menarik perhatian saya, karena lagunya baguuuusssss bangggget:). Kristina membawakan lagu berjudul Horehronie.

'Horehronie' merupakan salah satu tempat pariwisata di Slovakia yang kalau saya cari di wikipedia berarti 'wilayah hulu Sunga Hron'. Lagu ini menceritakan keindahan hulu Sungai Hron dan kedamaian yang dirasakan oleh seseorang saat berada di tempat itu. Lagu yang pernah memuncaki tangga lagu Slovakia ini diciptakan oleh Martin Kavulič yang merupakan composer asal Slovakia, sedangkan lirik lagu ini ditulis oleh Kamil Peteraj dalam bahasa Slovakia. Kamil Peteraj adalah seorang penyair, penulis lirik, dan penulis skenario terkemuka asal Slovakia (eurovision.tv). Tak heran kenapa lirik lagu ini sangat indah (tata bahasa terjemahan lagu ini sangat bagus, hehe, saya gak bisa bahasa Slovakia jadi cuma membaca terjemahannya saja), ternyata penulis liriknya adalah seorang penyair dan pembuat musiknya adalah seorang komposer terkenal asal Slovakia.

Lagu ini sudah berhari-hari saya dengarkan terus-menerus karena saat mendengarnya kita akan merasa damai dan tenang. Kesan damai dan tenang yang muncul dari lagu ini mengingatkan saya pada lagu 'Januari di Kota Dili' yang pernah dipopulerkan oleh Rita Effendi. Kesan tradisional (folk) juga sangat saya rasakan dalam alunan musik lagu ini, ditambah syairnya yang menceritakan keindahan hulu Sungai Hron yang merupakan tempat wisata andalan di Slovakia (yup, Slovakia banget gitu lhoh).

Alangkah kagetnya saya saat saya tidak menemukan nama Slovakia dalam daftar final Eurovision 2010, yap...betul sekali...Kristina Pelakova hanya masuk hingga semifinal pertama dan gagal masuk ke final. Padahal jika mendengarkan kualitas suara sang penyanyi, aransemen-nya dan konten lagunya, lagu ini sangat amat pantas masuk final.
